Bevel cuts
In this section a user can set whether the bevels should be created in the structure. Bevels are the end cuts on the chords that are used to easily join the truss to the girder, as long as they do not form a perpendicular angle with each other. The creation of bevels is activated by the "Create bevels" switch. If this setting is off, the program completes the trusses with a perpendicular cut so that the bevel can be made later on site.
Structure with and without bevels
Using the setting "Symmetrical detail for single cut", it is possible to set whether the one-sided bevels (cuts against one truss) should be created using two symmetrical cuts or just one. The first method simplifies the manufacturing and assembly of the structure on site, as it is not necessary to deal with left and right variants of identical trusses, while the second method provides a more suitable detail for the bearing connection.
Symmetrical and non-symmetrical bevels
For multi-ply trusses, the setting "All plies identical in multi-ply girders" is available. If this setting is activated, the program creates all plies in girder identical. This setting simplifies the production of trusses (it is not necessary to produce different plies), but at the same time reduces the contact area of the trusses. If this setting is unchecked, the program will stretch every ply so that it is completely adjacent to the reference truss.

The "Apex detail" setting offers two options for dealing with bevels in the apex of hip detail:
- Prefer mono pitched truss - The centre mono-pitched truss is extended to the main duo-pitched truss, the diagonal hip girders are aligned to these two trusses. Therefore, the bevels appear only on the diagonal hip girders
- Prefer corner trusses - the diagonal hip girders are extended to the main duo-pitched truss. Their edges form the contact surfaces for cutting the centre mono-pitched truss. In this option, the bevels are formed on all three trusses

Bevels only affect the manufacturing documentation, they do not affect the structural analysis of the structure.
